My Story

MY PATH WASN'T STRAIGHT. IT RAN THROUGH STEEL CORRIDORS, A NAVY QUARANTINE, AND A COPY OF BLENDER I DOWNLOADED OUT OF BOREDOM.

I served as an Interior Communications Electrician in the Navy, responsible for the systems that kept a ship's interior world alive — lighting, communications, AV. I was already thinking spatially, already reading how people move through built environments. I just didn't have a name for it yet.

During a quarantine deployment, I found Blender. What started as something to do became something I couldn't stop. That's where the worldbuilding started.

NOW I BUILD WORLDS INTENTIONALLY. BRUTALIST STRUCTURES, LAYERED ATMOSPHERES, SPACES THAT FEEL LIVED IN. THE NAVY TAUGHT ME HOW ENVIRONMENTS WORK. 3D ART TAUGHT ME HOW TO BUILD THEM FROM SCRATCH.
